$46.66–$69.99 per hour (approximately $91,000–$136,000 annually based on full-time equivalent)

About the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced Epic OpTime Application Analyst to support the design, implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Epic OpTime and Anesthesia applications.
This position plays a critical role in improving perioperative workflows by partnering with clinical and operational stakeholders to develop technology solutions that enhance efficiency and patient care. The analyst will participate in application design, testing, troubleshooting, optimization initiatives, vendor integrations, and production support while ensuring high levels of customer service.
This role also includes travel to support multiple operating room locations and requires collaboration with physicians, nursing leadership, surgical services, IT teams, and third-party vendors.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, configure, test, validate, and support Epic OpTime and Anesthesia applications.
Troubleshoot application issues through resolution while providing exceptional customer support.
Collaborate with clinical departments to understand workflow requirements and recommend technology solutions.
Participate in application optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Coordinate vendor integrations and third-party system implementations.
Execute system changes following formal change management processes.
Develop test plans and document testing results.
Support go-live activities, upgrades, and ongoing production support.
Conduct user training and provide workflow documentation.
Create reports using Epic reporting tools.
Facilitate IT rounding meetings and communicate project updates with operational stakeholders.
Participate in disaster recovery, downtime planning, and security-related initiatives.
Required SkillsEpic OpTime Certification (Required)
Epic Anesthesia Certification (Preferred)
Minimum three years of Epic application analyst experience
Epic OpTime build and support experience
Application design, configuration, testing, and implementation
Workflow analysis and optimization
Third-party integration experience
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Experience supporting surgical services workflows
Documentation and report-writing skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree
Epic Anesthesia Certification
Related clinical or healthcare operations experience
Experience supporting vendor integrations such as SPM, Track Core, or similar solutions
Experience working within large integrated healthcare environments
