Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually
Intrepid Museum is seeking a talented Jr. Web Designer to support the ongoing evolution of our museum’s website. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our website experience – from building and deploying new pages to implementing front-end features and ensuring the site remains up-to-date. You’ll also contribute to broader digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, SEO, and performance tracking.
This role reports to the Director of New Media and works closely with cross‑functional teams including developers, internal stakeholders, and IT to deliver high‑quality digital experiences.
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week.
Responsibilities- Build, update, and maintain website pages using Drupal 10 and other web technologies in accordance with interdepartmental requests and institutional needs
- Support email marketing campaigns and digital initiatives
- Maintain visual consistency and a seamless user experience across Drupal‑powered public‑facing features while adhering to brand guidelines
- Implement SEO best practices to improve visibility and performance
- Manage Google Analytics to track website and campaign performance and produce reports for internal review
- Troubleshoot site maintenance issues as they arise
- Stay current with emerging web technologies and industry trends
