NEOGOV is looking for a Project Manager for our PowerDMS Implementations. In this position, you will work with a team of highly skilled consultants, managers, developers, and subject matter experts. The role’s primary purpose is to manage project teams on customer engagements to ensure project deliverables and milestones are met and to lead multiple implementation projects simultaneously.
What You Will Do- Project Architecture & Delivery:
Own the development of comprehensive project plans, milestones, and key deliverables. Monitor and report on progress throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring projects launch on time and within scope. - Risk Mitigation & Problem Solving:
Conduct rigorous risk assessments early in the engagement. Proactively identify bottlenecks, technical hurdles, or scope creep, and implement mitigation strategies before they impact the timeline. - Scope & Requirements Engineering:
Lead discovery sessions to gather, confirm, and document business and technical requirements. Define the implementation scope, map out configuration workflows, and allocate internal resources effectively. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as the central hub between the client and internal teams. Partner closely with Sales, Product, Customer Support, and Customer Success to raise technical bugs, advocate for client feature requests, and ensure seamless handoffs. - Client Advocacy & Stakeholder Management:
Guide client stakeholders—from IT admins to C‑suite executives—through change management, driving platform adoption, and keeping them accountable to their responsibilities. - Process Optimization:
Help write and refine onboarding methodologies to scale, automate, and standardize our processes, reducing onboarding cycle times.
- Exceptional Communicator:
Elite written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical SaaS concepts into plain English for non‑technical users and vice‑versa. - Master of Prioritization:
Strong time‑management skills and a proven track record of managing multiple concurrent enterprise‑level implementations without disruption. - Diplomatic Leader:
Empathetic, influential leader who can command a room and align both internal developers and external client champions towards milestones. - Proactive Problem Solver:
Self‑starter who approaches delayed launches or broken processes as puzzles to solve creatively. - Team Player:
Collaborative mindset, actively sharing best practices, templates, and lessons learned to elevate the Implementation team.

Average days from contract signing to client “Go‑Live.” - Number of Go‑Lives:
Projects that successfully completed. - Median Cycle Time (MCT):
Median kickoff to Go‑Live duration. - Project Health:
Percentage of projects delivered on time and within the original scope.
Experience: 3‑5 years of project management experience, specifically onboarding B2B SaaS solutions or enterprise software. Experience working with public sector or public safety clients is a plus.
