Presidio seeks Network and Security Practice Leads in Boston, MA to provide hands‑on technical leadership over engineering teams, ensuring project delivery, client satisfaction, and high‑quality implementations.

Expected travel up to 25%.

• Technical Leadership
  • Oversee execution of network and security projects from design, staging to installation, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide guidance and quality assurance for network designs that align with business objectives, budgets, and operational support, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure architectures.
  • Support and lead troubleshooting for complex network and security issues during deployments.
• Client Relationships
  • Act as customer‑facing technical leader for all services engagements, including escalations.
• Business Management
  • Work closely with sales, pre‑sales, project management, and engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions and achieve project goals.
• Team Building
  • Foster a culture of growth and development, focusing on technical and professional development.

• Advanced Networking Expertise
  • Proven experience with complex multi‑protocol routing and switching, including design, configuration, and troubleshooting with a focus on Cisco best practices.
  • In‑depth knowledge of core routing and switching platforms (e.g., Cisco) and advanced concepts such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and IP addressing design.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP stack, OSI model, and common TCP/UDP ports and services.
  • Expertise in network security, including device hardening and security protocols.
• Cloud Networking & SD‑WAN
  • Solid experience with cloud networking solutions in AWS, Azure, GCP, and Aviatrix.
  • Experience deploying SD‑WAN solutions such as Viptela, Silver Peak, or Palo Alto Prisma SD‑WAN.
• Security Solution Implementation
  • Proficient in deploying and managing security solutions from vendors such as Palo Alto Networks (Panorama, Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud) and Cisco (Fire Power/FTD, Meraki MX, FMC).
  • Ability to implement and manage security solutions, ensuring secure network infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting & Communication
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for routing and switching issues with a proven track record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Experience
  • 2+ years of team leadership or management experience preferred, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years hands‑on experience in project implementation, engineering, and design within networking and security domains.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in network engineering, IT, or related field; or equivalent military experience.

• Fortinet products (e.g., Forti Gate firewalls, Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer) highly desirable.
• Advanced networking solutions including Arista Cloud Vision and Aruba networking products (Aruba CX, Aruba OS, VSX/VSF).
• Automation & scripting knowledge such as Python, EMM, or TCL.
• Certifications:
  
  Active Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE) and Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA, PCCSE, PCNSE).
