Location: New York
Roles and Responsibilities
- Install, configure, deploy, and maintain desktop, laptop, and server systems.
- Perform OS imaging, software installation, updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network issues.
- Administer Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server environments.
- Manage Active Directory user accounts, permissions, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP configurations.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support and manage incident escalations.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, system monitoring, and security compliance.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware maintenance and issue resolution.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, system documentation, and technical reports.
- Support hardware refresh, decommissioning, and office moves.
- Utilize Service Now or similar ticketing systems to track and resolve support requests.
- Bachelor s degree with 2+ years, or Associate s degree with technical certification and 4+ years of IT support experience.
- Experience imaging, preparing, and deploying desktop/workstations.
- Strong administration experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server operating systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong Power Shell scripting and automation skills.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Active Directory, and desktop troubleshooting.
- Experience with Service Now or similar ITSM ticketing tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer support skills.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Cybersecurity certifications.
- Experience supporting backup, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure operations.
- Valid driver s license and flexibility to support after-hours, weekend, and on-call operations as needed.
