About Us

Join us in building the leading AI-Powered Mission Control for Corporate Travel. Some of the world's most recognizable companies, representing over $4T in market value, rely on Clarasight's software to reduce risks, save costs, protect revenues, and manage emissions aligned with business objectives and sustainability goals.

About You

You know the corporate travel ecosystem from the inside. You've worked among TMCs, GDSs, booking tools, or travel data providers. You're equally at home reading API documentation as you are navigating a large partner organization to find the one stakeholder who can unlock what you need. You're hands on with data: when a vendor tells you a feed is fine, you'd rather open the file and verify it yourself.

You bring curiosity, tenacity, and a bias for action, and you're excited by the opportunity to build a new function from the ground up at a fast moving company applying AI to one of travel's hardest data problems.

About the Role
  • Own Clarasight's third party data strategy end to end: from discovering and evaluating new data sources through to managing the ongoing performance, quality, and value of our data partnerships.

  • Operate at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Solutions Delivery, and our external data ecosystem, ensuring the data powering our platform and roadmap is fit for purpose, high quality, and commercially sound.

  • This is a build from scratch role with high autonomy and broad exposure: you'll work directly with company leadership across solutions, product, and engineering, and represent Clarasight with partners across the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Source Discovery

  • Own the map of the third party travel data landscape including flight, hotel, emissions enrichment, benchmarking, market intelligence and maintain our source strategy: the unique attributes, strengths, and limitations of each provider.

  • Run hands‑on technical evaluations of candidate data sources: sample data analysis, API and documentation review, schema and coverage assessment, and fit for purpose determination against product roadmap and customer requirements.

  • Translate findings into clear data requirements and product inputs in partnership with Product and Engineering.

Vendor Management & Data Accountability

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our data vendors: own escalations, triage data issues, and run the ad‑hoc analysis needed to isolate root cause quickly and credibly.

  • Reconcile delivered data against contracted specifications and SLAs.

  • Prepare the technical and financial groundwork for vendor negotiations and renewals, usage and volume modeling, API consumption analysis, SLA validation, arming commercial leadership with context to operate effectively.

Ecosystem & Partnership Development

  • Build and navigate relationships across the corporate travel ecosystem: TMCs, booking tools, card and expense providers, and data enrichment partners.

  • Map target organizations, identify the right stakeholders, and open doors: securing data access, executive sponsorship, and productive working relationships with the partners that matter most to our customers and roadmap.

  • Represent Clarasight credibly in front of any partner stakeholder, from data engineers to executives.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You…
  • Have deep experience in the travel industry (e.g. TMCs, GDSs, OBTs, corporate travel data or travel technology providers) you know the stakeholders and the players, and you understand how travel data really works.

  • Are hands‑on with data: comfortable navigating APIs, flat files, ETL concepts, and data schemas, not necessarily to write production code, but to independently evaluate, diagnose, and verify datasets and shape integration design.

  • Have 3 - 7+ years in data product management, data partnerships, data strategy, or vendor management roles.

  • Are resourceful and tenacious in navigating large partner organizations, you treat strategic partners like accounts to be mapped and won, and you have the creativity and persistence to find a path where none is obvious.

  • Are obsessed with quality, you'd rather verify than assume, and you hold partners to a high standard with rigor and…
