BackgroundWe are looking for a reliable, technically versatile Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize the IT systems, cloud infrastructure, and internal tools that keep Locked In AI running smoothly every day.
This is a foundational operations role — you will ensure that every system the team depends on is secure, highly available, well-monitored, and capable of scaling alongside a platform serving over 1 million users worldwide.
SummaryAs a Systems Administrator, you will own the health, stability, and security of Locked In AI’s infrastructure and internal systems.
Your responsibilities span cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, networking, SaaS tooling, endpoint administration, security hardening, monitoring, and incident response.
You are the person who ensures that everything “just works” — quietly preventing issues before they happen, and responding quickly when they do.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and deeply reliable. You understand that strong infrastructure is what enables fast product development, stable AI systems, and seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities- Manage cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) including compute, storage, networking, and databases
- Monitor system health, performance, and resource utilization
- Handle provisioning, scaling, patching, and lifecycle management of servers and services
- Administer Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery systems
- Administer IAM policies across cloud and internal systems
- Administer SSO, MFA, and directory services
- Handle onboarding/offboarding of users and permissions
- Conduct access audits and enforce least-privilege principles
- Manage privileged and root access securely
- Manage VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and networking configurations
- Administer DNS records, domains, and SSL/TLS certificates
- Maintain email systems, deliverability, and authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Troubleshoot network latency, connectivity, and routing issues
- Configure CDN and content delivery systems
- Manage company SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Jira, Git Hub, etc.)
- Track licenses, subscriptions, and renewals
- Administer endpoint devices and enforce security policies
- Maintain IT asset inventory across the organization
- Evaluate and onboard new tools as needed
- Implement system-level security hardening and patch management
- Manage EDR, antivirus, and endpoint protection tools
- Enforce security policies across systems and devices
- Support SOC 2, GDPR, and compliance initiatives
- Conduct regular system security audits
- Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
- Respond to production and internal system incidents
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical infrastructure
- Maintain runbooks and incident documentation
- Automate detection and remediation of recurring issues
