Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking a Legal Technologist to join its Practice Solutions team. This role will focus on configuring, administering, and optimizing legal technology and AI‑enabled solutions that support attorneys and legal professionals across the firm. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with attorneys in a law firm environment, configuring multiple legal technology platforms, and translating legal workflows into practical technology solutions.

- Configure, customize, and maintain legal technology and AI‑enabled platforms
- Build templates, forms, workflows, rule sets, and user interfaces
- Translate legal and business requirements into technical solutions
- Perform testing and quality assurance for upgrades, enhancements, and integrations
- Provide troubleshooting and day‑to‑day support for legal technology platforms
- Administer systems, manage user access, and coordinate with vendors and IT teams
- Maintain platform performance through updates and ongoing optimization
- Document configurations, standards, and change management procedures
- Partner with attorneys and legal staff to identify technology needs
- Deliver user training and provide guidance on platform functionality
- Support adoption of new tools and best practices
- Research emerging legal technology, automation, and AI solutions
- Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and client value
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Some years of experience in legal technology, legal operations, legal IT, or configuration engineering
- Experience configuring at least two legal technology platforms such as Relativity One, HighQ, eBrevia, Avvoka, or Opus 2
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 including SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Teams
- Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate preferred
- Understanding of ESI processing and document review workflows
- Ability to work with industry‑standard eDiscovery load files
- Strong technical skills in workflow automation, data mapping, form design, UI configuration, testing, and QA
- Familiarity with APIs, scripting, or low‑code tools is a plus
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Expected salary for this role is $115,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
