This is a high-impact individual contributor opportunity within a team committed to technical excellence, where your contributions directly influence the stability, efficiency, and effectiveness of systems that matter.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing application logic to diagnose complex issues, define root causes, and implement scalable, sustainable solutions that reduce operational risk.
  • Formulate and document systems scope and objectives for high-impact application enhancements, translating complex business processes and industry standards into clear technical requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Systems Analysts to determine system impacts, capture support requirements, and align technical delivery to business expectations.
  • Identify application vulnerabilities, security risks, and operational exposures, clearly communicate potential impacts, and present structured risk mitigation options to stakeholders.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to junior analysts, guiding their development, allocating tasks effectively, and sharing expertise to raise team capability.
  • Evaluate the implications of technology decisions within the current environment, ensuring proposed solutions are practical, compliant, and aligned with Citi's risk and control standards.
  • Participate in disaster recovery testing to validate business continuity readiness and contribute to risk mitigation planning.
  • Take active ownership of support project initiatives focused on application stability, operational efficiency, and service effectiveness.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in application support, systems analysis, or a related technology function, with a demonstrated ability to operate independently on complex deliverables.
  • Practical problem-solving ability combined with strategic thinking skills, enabling you to move from issue identification through to resolution with clarity and confidence.
  • Established relationship-building skills, with a track record of guiding peers, influencing stakeholders, and coordinating across cross-functional technology teams.
  • Experience leading or contributing to requirements gathering for multiple large-scale development projects simultaneously, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with standard technical tools and systems relevant to application support and systems integration environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A service-oriented mindset with the ability to perform at pace in a dynamic, global environment where priorities and demands can shift rapidly.
  • Flexibility to work shifts between 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with availability to support weekend rotations as required by the business.
