Overview

Global Head of Cloud & Infrastructure at S&P Global. Leading the Cloud & Infrastructure organization, overseeing cloud platforms, networks, observability, forward deployment engineering, enterprise architecture, and AI foundations across global divisions. Responsible for architecting and operating the hybrid, multi-cloud estate across Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure with 24x7 reliability, elastic scale, and optimized cost, performance, and sustainability metrics.

• Architect and operate a hybrid, multi-cloud estate across Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure with 24x7 reliability and optimized cost, performance, and sustainability metrics.
• Engineer resilient global networks spanning cloud interconnect, data centers, campuses and branches, modernizing WAN edge to SASE/SSE while embedding zero trust architecture for market-data and trading workloads.
• Industrialize foundational GenAI capabilities enterprise-wide, building scalable AI-ready data platform foundations with strong trust, safety, and observability for agentic AI at scale.
• Drive enterprise modernization through risk-based vulnerability management, secure software supply chain practices, and cyber-resilience partnerships with the CISO organization.
• Deliver commitments for cost, quality, performance, and availability through disciplined portfolio management while aligning architecture with M&A integration to accelerate business value.
• Provide compensation and benefit understanding as part of role, with awareness of base salary guidance and incentive eligibility as described by Global HR policies.

• Basic Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology leadership experience with minimum 5 years leading global cloud and infrastructure organizations of comparable scale and complexity.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise cloud transformation and platform modernization at scale across hybrid, multi-cloud environments, including orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or Open Shift) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, or Cloud Formation).
• Experience leading global enterprise network organizations across cloud, data center, campus, and edge environments, including SASE/SSE modernization and zero-trust network access implementation.
• Deep operating experience in highly regulated industries (financial services, capital markets, ratings, or data analytics) with regulatory compliance expertise; executive-level fluency working with regulators, external auditors, and enterprise risk functions with accountability for large-scale technology budgets and vendor portfolio management.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; advanced degree (MS, MBA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.

• Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating technology capabilities post-M&A to accelerate value realization and optimize technology investments across diverse organizational structures.
• Hands-on familiarity with platform engineering, CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops), and observability solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or Data Dog) at enterprise scale.
• Exposure to regulated data infrastructure requirements including SEC, ESMA, FCA, and DORA compliance frameworks with ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
• Public speaking experience, board-level presentation skills, and established industry thought-leadership with experience collaborating with hyperscaler executive teams on strategic partnerships.
