What You Will DoThe Solution Engineer is a strategic partner who supports customers and sales teams throughout the sales process by solving a broad set of technical and business activities. This role extends beyond pre-sales into post-sales enablement, ensuring deployment, adoption, and long-term value realization for enterprise customers.
You will work closely with the sales team to shape the customer onboarding process. The role focuses on aligning technical product capabilities, consulting on all technical aspects, supporting customers through deployments, and driving measurable value for the customer.
Key Responsibilities- Lead enterprise deployment planning discussions with customer IT teams, including scalable rollout strategies across Windows (Intune/SCCM/GPO) and macOS (JAMF/plist) environments, solution design, and security review.
- Develop and present technical materials that explain think-cell’s solution, deployment model, and integration approach to technical audiences.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable deployment and configuration recommendations, providing hands-on guidance throughout technical discovery, pilot setup, rollout planning, and post-deployment optimization.
- Manage inquiries related to data security and compliance for a Software as a Service product.
- Adjust XML Style Files to reflect customer PowerPoint design guidelines (configuration work).
- Generate product presentations and provide tailored demonstrations of the product to customers, drawing on extensive think-cell product feature expertise.
- Educate and assist sales teams, working in tandem with product management and sales enablement.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering).
- 2–6 years of experience in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or product specialist roles supporting SaaS or similar environments, with stakeholder management experience, or hands-on enterprise software deployment experience (IT support, application deployment, Windows administration).
- Background in Computer Science or Information Systems, including XML, security, and deployment across Windows (Intune/SCCM/GPO) and macOS (JAMF/plist).
- Skilled at developing captivating PowerPoint presentations.
- Confident, polished communicator who can simplify complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences during demos and deployments.
- Consultative and curious mindset with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong sales mindset with the ability to communicate and demonstrate the product’s value to customers; proactive and forward-thinking to anticipate customer needs.
- Technical exposure to VBA, Python, and API.
- Hybrid work environment in NYC: office 3 days a week (Tuesday–Thursday).
- Willingness to travel to our headquarters in Berlin, Germany 1–2 times per year.
- Must have full-time US work authorization; no sponsorship is available for this role.
Compensation: 85,000–120,000 USD per year, depending on education, skills, experience, scope, location, and other factors. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability leave, parental leave, paid time off, and 401(k) contributions. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
