No capital markets experience needed, you will be part of a small, fast-paced global team responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of a sophisticated electronic trading platform operating across hundreds of venues worldwide.
Positioned at the very forefront of the firm’s interaction with the financial markets, they operate in a highly dynamic environment where precision, speed, and sound judgment are essential. The role requires individuals who can remain composed under pressure, respond decisively in time-sensitive situations, and contribute to the ongoing stability and performance of critical trading infrastructure.
As the first point of contact for all external trading connections, SREs perform a broad and varied set of responsibilities. They play a central role in monitoring system health, supporting live trading activity, and helping to improve the reliability and efficiency of the firm’s global trading environment. This combination of technical oversight and operational responsiveness makes the role both demanding and highly impactful.
Site Reliability Engineers work mainly Linux environments to resolve complex technical problems and support the continued evolution of the trading platform. A strong interest in markets and technology is essential, as is the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and technical challenges. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of a fast-moving and highly collaborative trading environment.
- 1–3 years of experience in an SRE, Production Support, or similar technical operations role; exceptional recent graduates will also be considered.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux environments.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and perform effectively in high-stress, time-sensitive situations.
- Interest in high-transaction environments and/or low-latency systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong academic record.
- Technical agility, curiosity, and an interest in innovative technologies.
