Senior Information Technology Director

Provide senior leadership across architecture, engineering, and operations for a leading automotive technology innovation company utilising AI driven and machine learning technologies to evolve solutions and fast-track innovation in the space.

• Oversee and manage global infrastructure, cloud, networks and support operations.
• Lead and manage a global team of architects, software engineers, network engineers, project managers, QA, Test and Support Specialists
• Manage IT infrastructure and take ownership of operational costs and productivity
• Collaborate with CISO and the cybersecurity team to ensure robust security across data and systems and Secure SDLC.
• Oversee external vendor management relationships and quality across service providers
• Evaluate emerging technologies and existing software and hardware tools to ensure the right selection to maintain a competitive edge in the sector and overall efficiency
• Partner with key stakeholders to advise, design and implement best practices to maintain an infrastructure that enables the company to continue to achieve ambitious growth plans

Requirements:

• Senior-level experience in a global organization with responsibility for cloud and infrastructure initiatives
• Experience to manage and in some cases build and enhance teams across architecture and engineering to senior levels
• Comfortable managing a global business unit with budget responsibility
• Technical Expertise across networking, multi-cloud strategies and infrastructure… AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience to lead global cloud transformation and migrations projects from on-prem
• Relevant Computer Science or Engineering qualifications or related field and/or relevant work experience
