We are looking for a visionary and strategic Field CTO with a "learn-it-all" mindset to serve as a high-impact technical advisor for our most strategic prospects and customers. In this role, you will act as a peer to client executives, translating complex business transformations into scalable technical strategies. • Executive Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives
  , aligning their long-term strategic goals with the Celonis technical vision.

  Lead the overarching data, cloud, and innovation strategy for our largest global accounts, utilizing methodologies like Capability Mapping to identify high-value opportunities.
• Innovation Leadership: Architect "first-of-a-kind" solutions using emergent technologies like Agentic AI to solve complex enterprise challenges.
• Sales & Business Impact: Partner with Sales and Value Engineering driving revenue through new customer acquisition and strategic up-selling.
• Product Advocacy: Act as a critical feedback loop between our Product & Engineering teams and the market, ensuring the voice of the customer shapes our future offerings.
• Thought Leadership: Develop and deliver customer-facing position papers, assets, and presentations that establish our brand as a leader in architecture and innovation.

• Experience: 15 to 20 years of relevant experience, ideally having served as a CTO at a consulting firm, as Field CTO at a software vendor, or Director/VP of Enterprise Architecture within a major corporation.
• Strategic Communication: Proven track record of presenting complex technical visions to C-suite stakeholders in a way that emphasizes business value.
• Modernization Expertise: Deep experience in Enterprise Modernization
  , EA Methodologies
  , and a robust understanding of Agentic AI

• Technical Versatility: Ability to pivot from high-level architecture diagrams to hands-on demo.
• Technical Foundation: Excellent background in Data Architecture, API ecosystems, and cloud-native SaaS solutions like Salesforce and Service Now.
• ERP knowledge of at least one ERP SAP or Oracle
• Domain: Strong domain expertise in Financial Services.
• Education: MSc degree in Computer Science or an equivalent IT-related field.

• Tech Stack: Celonis, OCPM and Case Centric Data Pipelines.
• Certifications: TOGAF/Zachmann, AWS/Azure/GCP, and ESB/ETL certifications (e.g., Mulesoft, Informatica).
• Industry Breadth: Experience across at least two domains (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain) and two industries (e.g., Pharma, Banking, Aerospace).
