Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports to track program and strategy performance
• Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform global program strategies
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is well represented to meet stakeholder needs
• Identify opportunities to enhance the data collection and reporting processes
• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging analytics tools
• Collaborate with fellow Analytics colleagues to ensure best practices in coding, statistics, and general analysis

• 3+ years working in the field of data analytics
• 2+ years’ experience in international humanitarian aid or development
• Proven experience with enterprise data sets
• Technical skills across the data stack: cloud lakehouse platforms (Databricks preferred), Python and SQL, dbt or equivalent transformation tooling, pipeline orchestration, and BI/visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
• Demonstrable experience planning and executing complex analytics projects across multiple stakeholders.

Demonstrates expertise in data analytics, including the ability to analyze large datasets, create impactful visualizations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic insights. Proficient in utilizing cloud lakehouse platforms, programming languages, and BI tools to enhance data reporting and collection processes.
