Position Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable IMAC Technician to support end‑user computing environments. The role involves disconnecting, relocating, reconnecting, and setting up computer workstations, including new deployments and office moves.
Key Responsibilities- Disconnect and reconnect desktop and laptop workstations during office moves or reconfigurations
- Set up new workstations, including computers, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and peripherals
- Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and escalate issues when necessary
- Ensure proper cable management and clean, professional workstation setups
- Follow IMAC procedures, checklists, and documentation standards
- Test equipment and confirm functionality before handoff to end users
- Provide basic end‑user support during workstation setup and transition
- Adhere to safety guidelines, security policies, and company IT standards
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with workstation setup, hardware deployment, or desktop support
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
- Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (Ethernet, ports, cabling)
- Ability to lift and move equipment (typically up to 40–50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions, processes, and timelines
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous IMAC, desktop support, or field technician experience
- Experience working in corporate or enterprise IT environments
- A+ certification or similar technical certification
- On‑site corporate office locations
- Walking, standing, bending, and lifting throughout the day
- Occasional after‑hours or weekend work for large moves or deployments
- Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)

Hours:
20–40 per week - Schedule:
8‑hour shift, nights as needed, overtime, weekends as needed - Work Location:
In person (New York)
- Hourly Pay: $20–$25 per hour
