A leading quantitative trading firm is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to help build and operate the critical systems powering its global trading infrastructure. This is a high-impact role focused on reliability, automation, scalability, and performance across mission‑critical production environments.
What You'll Do- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of production systems
- Automate operational workflows and eliminate repetitive manual work
- Lead incident response and drive long‑term solutions through root cause analysis
- Partner with engineering and business teams to improve system resiliency
- Design and implement solutions to complex infrastructure challenges
- Strong computer science fundamentals and distributed systems knowledge
- Proficiency in Python or another modern programming language
- Experience building, operating, and troubleshooting production systems at scale
- Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, source control, and modern development practices
- Strong communication skills and an ownership mentality
- SQL and database experience
- Experience with Linux, networking, cloud infrastructure, or web technologies
- Work alongside elite engineers and investment professionals
- Tackle complex technical challenges at significant scale
- High ownership, strong engineering culture, and exceptional compensation
