Location: New York, NY (downtown) — 5 days in office

Compensation: $95-115k (staff position with benefits)

A growing luxury accessory and ecommerce company is seeking a UX/UI Designer to help shape intuitive, visually compelling digital experiences. This role combines user experience strategy with interface design, focusing on improving the online customer journey through thoughtful, brand-aligned solutions while driving conversion rate optimization (CRO).

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create engaging experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and strong visual design. Qualified candidates have e-commerce experience and Figma expertise.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and refine web experiences, digital components, and site modules.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and clickable prototypes.
  • Identify usability and conversion opportunities through UX analysis and testing.
  • Support an ongoing UX and optimization roadmap informed by site and consumer data.
  • Develop responsive designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Partner with design, development, brand, and marketing teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Help maintain and evolve design systems, UI standards, and ecommerce guidelines.
  • Review the customer journey to uncover friction points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure consistency with overall brand direction and visual standards.
What They’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of hands‑on UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio.
  • Strong knowledge of responsive and user-centered design best practices.
  • Strong experience with customer acquisition for a luxury brand.
  • Proficiency in Figma.
  • Understanding of usability testing, accessibility, and interface design principles.
  • Ability to interpret A/B testing, conversion metrics, and user behavior insights.
  • Excellent visual design skills and strong attention to detail.
