University Behavioral Associates (UBA), part of Montefiore Medical Center, is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to support quality assurance and improvement efforts across several child welfare programs funded by NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS). • Building and maintaining systems that integrate clinical, operational, and administrative data
• Translating qualitative clinical information into measurable indicators
• Designing data collection tools, workflows, and dashboards
• Supporting clinical teams in applying assessment findings
• Creating clear data summaries and visualizations for leadership and frontline teams
• Conducting data validation and quality assurance (automated or manual)
• Training staff on documentation standards, reporting systems, and data best practices

• Bachelor’s required, Master’s degree preferred in a related field
• 1-3 years experience.
• Strong experience with Excel and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills needed; including Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, dashboards, conditional formatting, data validation)
• Familiarity with related programs/ tools such as SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Red Cap, PC‑SAS
• Solid understanding of database management and data visualization
• Knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR, and secure data‑handling practices
• A detail‑oriented mindset and a passion for improving systems that support vulnerable populations
