We are seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on Senior Network Engineer to join the Enterprise Network Services team. The role focuses on deploying and supporting critical network infrastructure across internal enterprises and external customer‑facing platforms.
Responsibilities- Implement and support enterprise‑scale network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, and campus environments.
- Provide Tier‑3 support and technical leadership during major incidents and escalations.
- Develop and maintain network standards, documentation, and engineering procedures.
- Plan, test, assess risk, and deploy critical security and infrastructure patches across production environments.
- Coordinate maintenance windows, rollback plans, validation testing, and post‑implementation reviews to minimize business impact.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements through timely remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Partner with Security, Infrastructure, Application, and Operations teams to prioritize and execute remediation activities.
- Maintain high availability and resilience of business‑critical services, monitoring network performance and proactively identifying risks.
- Develop automation solutions using Python, Ansible, or similar tools to improve operational and deployment efficiency.
- Standardize deployment procedures and reduce manual intervention through automation, driving continuous process improvement and infrastructure optimization.
- Extensive experience with cloud observability tools (Cloud Watch, APIs, VPC Reachability Analyzer, Network Watcher, etc.).
- Expertise in Leaf‑Spine architectures on Cisco and Arista platforms.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Ansible, Python, Terraform, Git Hub, and Jira.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP/OSPF.
- 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- Proven execution of critical security patching and production network upgrades in large‑scale environments.
- Experience supporting both internal infrastructure and internet‑facing production services.
- Experience operating in financial services, trading, telecommunications, cloud, or other mission‑critical environments.
- Ability to perform complex maintenance and migration activities during scheduled change windows.
- Strong understanding of network resiliency, high availability, and disaster recovery principles.
- Willingness to support weekend implementations, emergency changes, and critical incident response.
- CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent industry certifications.
- Knowledge of network automation frameworks.
- Experience with large‑scale global data center environments.
- Familiarity with agile delivery and Dev Ops methodologies.
- Strong ownership and accountability.
- Calm and decisive under pressure with excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, highly dynamic production environments.
- Timely rollout of critical patches with zero unplanned outages.
- Improved network reliability and security posture.
- Reduced operational risk through automation and standardization.
- Effective execution of large‑scale infrastructure changes across global environments.
- Strong partnership with operations, security, and application teams to maintain resilient business services.
Expected base pay rates for this role are between $120,000 and $165,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Total compensation may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other benefit programs.
