AI Engineer (Applied/Software), AI Business & Operations, Technical Writer
Neuberger is a leading private, employee-owned investment manager, delivering active portfolio solutions across equities, fixed income, private markets, and alternatives to clients worldwide. Our Global Technology organization is embedding generative AI across the investment lifecycle - and empowering our people to put these tools to work every day.
About the RoleAI adoption is accelerating across Neuberger, and we're looking for a dynamic, AI Training and Enablement professional to help the firm harness it well. In this role, you'll drive firmwide upskilling - helping every employee, across every function, get comfortable and confident using our AI tools effectively.
You'll lead how employees learn to work with NB-GPT (Neuberger's internal AI tool, built on Anthropic and OpenAI LLMs), Claude Enterprise (including Cowork), Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other tools across our environment. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves learning new AI tools, making them approachable for any audience, and presenting confidently - whether one-on-one, in a large virtual session, or in front of a room.
Deep technical expertise isn't required; genuine enthusiasm for AI and a quick learning curve are what matter most.
Deliver AI training across formats - one-on-one coaching, staff meetings, large virtual sessions, and in-person workshops - spanning beginner sessions, hands-on practitioner training, and executive briefings.
Build role- and level-appropriate curricula covering NB-GPT, Claude Enterprise (including Cowork), Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other emerging tools.
Partner with vendors to co-deliver training sessions and host recurring live sessions and hands-on labs.
Create newsletters, intranet/SharePoint content, quick-reference guides, templates, and short- and long-form training videos.
Own internal AI communications - keeping the firm informed on new tools, features, and best practices, and distributing governance updates and executive summaries firmwide.
Build and maintain a self-serve learning library so employees can build skills on their own schedule.
Drive firmwide upskilling, making AI tools approachable and effective for every employee.
Serve as a visible, go-to AI resource - turning common questions into reusable guidance and best practices.
Track firmwide AI adoption by seniority tier and use data to target training where it drives the most impact.
Co-organize and grow the firm's AI communities, including the AI Monthly community group, the NB-GPT Working Group, and the monthly Generative AI developer call.
Create demos, showcases, and other opportunities for employees to share AI use cases and learn from one another.
4+ years of relevant experience in training, enablement, learning & development, internal communications, or a related field.
Genuine enthusiasm and hands-on comfort with AI tools/LLMs (e.g., NB-GPT, Claude Enterprise, Microsoft 365 Copilot) - deep technical or engineering expertise not required.
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training, enablement, or educational content (learning & development, instructional design, corporate training, or internal communications background welcome).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - you can make technical concepts clear and approachable for non-technical audiences.
Confidence presenting to audiences of any size, virtually or in person.
A passion for learning new technologies quickly and translating them into practical guidance.
Versatility across formats - live workshops, newsletters, intranet content, and short- and long-form video (including creating video content yourself).
Internal communications, content, or marketing experience, including campaign coordination.
Experience in financial services, asset management, or another regulated industry.
Hands-on experience with AI productivity tooling (prompt engineering, custom assistants) and video creation/editing tools.
Background in instructional design or adult learning.
Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
A high-visibility role at the center of how Neuberger helps its people adopt generative AI.
A role that will grow in scope and impact as AI's importance across the firm continues to expand.
Direct exposure to senior technology, investment, and business leaders firmwide.
Competitive compensation, employee-ownership participation, and comprehensive benefits.
