The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving end-user technical issues, managing user accounts, and maintaining operational continuity across hardware, software, and network systems.
Positions are available in Albany and New York City.### Key qualifications
* One year of service as an Information Technology Specialist 1 or equivalent NY State service, or six years of specialized IT experience
* Associate degree may substitute for two years of experience; bachelor's degree for four years; master's degree for five years
* Help desk support experience with hardware, software, network, and account management
* Ability to diagnose and resolve end-user technical issues and escalate appropriately
* Strong documentation and communication skills to maintain service records and provide customer updates
