As the Lead Technical Analyst, Digital Asset Management, you will have primary responsibility for the Museum's Digital Asset Management system (DAMs) and related workflows. You will facilitate the cataloging, discovery, dissemination, and long‐term preservation of approximately 2 million digital assets including images of artwork, historic images of the Museum and its exhibitions, video and audio material related to the museum’s daily activities and exhibitions, and other asset formats such as 3D and 360-degree video.

You will be an active participant in the analysis, transfer, tracking and organization of digital collections used by internal staff and external constituents.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES &

Maintain the Museum's Digital Asset Management system, applying a strong understanding of content management, client server environments, database systems, web services, and security roles, and applying knowledge of a variety of image, audio and video formats. Monitor data migration and synchronization tasks between various asset and data repositories. Coordinate and participate in DAMs upgrades in collaboration with the Museum’s IT function.

Troubleshoot the DAMs and extend integrations and automations in response to user

and ongoing product development. Gather, review, analyze, and evaluate system and user needs. Assist in the development and deployment of solutions based on user requirements. Oversee assigned local collections and other special projects and their workflows for processing within the DAMs.

Streamline acquisitions, deployments and conversions of multimedia content. Collaborate with stakeholders and other specialists to review and configure DAMs metadata and workflow processes. Contribute to system integrations and enhancements, including task automation, reporting, and other digitization procedures. Provide direct support and training to general and power users.

Design, develop, and maintain reports for the Museum’s DAMs, such as production workflows, digital rights management, and licensing activities. Act as main technical contact for the IT department and DAMs vendor(s). Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for the DAMs and adjacent systems and workflows. Other
