VP/Director, PROGRAM MANAGER - Technology

We're partnering with a successful international multi-strategy hedge fund, who have a newly created high-profile VP/Director Program Manager leadership opportunity in NYC. Reporting into the CTO's Chief of Staff, you'll partner directly with Compliance and Technology leadership to modernise critical technology, redesign operating models, and drive firm-wide transformation. It's a visible position with significant Exec exposure, genuine ownership, and the opportunity to shape how Compliance and Technology work together across the business.

• Lead strategic business and technology transformation programmes for Compliance.
• Partner closely with Compliance leadership to understand existing operating models, technology landscape, pain points and strategic objectives.
• Facilitate workshops to document current-state processes, identify opportunities and design future-state operating models.
• Lead business analysis activities including requirements gathering, process mapping, workflow documentation and solution definition.
• Act as the primary interface between Compliance and Technology, ensuring business needs are translated into practical, scalable technology solutions.
• Drive end-to-end programme delivery across multiple work streams, managing priorities, risks, dependencies and executive communications.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Technology, Operations and Front Office functions.
• Oversee governance, steering committees, executive reporting and programme planning.
• Work alongside engineering and product teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Support technology strategy across both internally developed platforms and third-party enterprise applications.
• Contribute to portfolio planning, resource prioritisation and broader strategic initiatives within the CTO organisation.
• min 10-15+ years' experience leading complex business and technology transformation programmes within Financial Services.
• Strong Business Analysis capability, including:
  Current-state assessment, Future-state process design, Business process mapping, Workflow documentation, Requirements gathering, Operating model design.
• Proven experience acting as the bridge between senior business stakeholders and Technology.
• Experience working closely with Compliance functions within a hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank or other complex regulated financial institution.
• Excellent understanding of technology delivery, enterprise systems and software development life cycles (technical enough to challenge solution design, but not expected to code).
• Outstanding executive stakeholder management, influencing senior business and technology leaders.
• Experience leading cross-functional programmes spanning multiple teams, vendors and business functions.
• Strong governance, risk management and executive reporting experience.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
