Domain – Finance/Capital Planning

This is an hybrid role from New York or Baltimore, MD and open for fulltime as well as contract opportunities.

In this role, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Regulatory Test Analyst to join our team, focusing on critical projects related to the Dodd‑Frank Act. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the rigorous testing and compliance of our financial systems, working closely with various stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of regulatory adherence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in financial services testing and a keen eye for detail to make a significant impact.

Given your involvement with Morgan Stanley accounts, this role aligns well with the expertise in financial regulatory environments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop robust test scripts for R1 & R2 phases of the project, ensuring comprehensive coverage of regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a central point of contact, reaching out to inputter and reviewer testers and coordinating all testing activities.
  • Ensure they have appropriate views and entitlements set up to perform their testing activities effectively.
  • Proactively check in and follow up with testers to ensure their activities are on track and addressing any potential roadblocks.
  • Meticulously compare test outputs against expected results to identify discrepancies and validate.
  • Verify that all attestations are appropriately and completely recorded within the FASTER system.
  • Experience of 14A and 14Q reporting and the schedules in it.
  • Document issues raised by users clearly and concisely, and effectively communicate them to the Technology and Business Analyst teams for resolution.
  • Understanding of testing and review principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in developing detailed and comprehensive test scripts.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze system configurations and user entitlements.
  • Experience with issue tracking systems.
  • Advanced data analysis skills, including expert‑level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to compare and validate test results against expected outcomes.
  • Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks, particularly for Capital Planning and reporting (CCAR/ DFAST)
  • Proven problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in regulatory testing, quality assurance, or business analysis within the financial services industry.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
  • Prior experience with any regulatory reporting is a plus
  • Experience working with financial institutions.
  • Certifications in testing or project management.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
