  • Produce project plans, budgets and technology recommendations, and keep case teams updated on progress and spend.
  • Scope and manage external providers, including selection and oversight of deliverables.
  • Support client IT interviews and draft the associated questionnaires.
  • Train attorneys and contribute to internal playbooks, templates and CLE sessions.
  • Travel domestically and internationally on occasion in support of live matters.

  • Line manage project managers across multiple offices.
  • Own day to day operations, resourcing and workflow for the team.
  • Lead provider selection, negotiation and commercial oversight.
  • Identify and implement new technology for complex matters, drawing on a strong grounding in systems architecture and application implementation.
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level team members.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for the function internally and externally.

Additional responsibilities of this eDiscovery Sr Project Manager:

  • Own delivery on complex matters end to end, accountable for quality, efficiency and defensibility.
  • Act as principal point of contact for external review and managed services partners.
  • Design matter specific workflows, databases and reporting.
  • Act as internal consultant on discovery technology, advising on use cases and workflows and working with platform owners on configuration and training.
  • Lead testing, rollout and adoption of new tooling alongside technical and procurement colleagues.

Requirements of these eDiscovery roles:

  • 6+ years in eDiscovery, ideally 8-12 years gained in a large law firm
, Big 4, professional services or with a provider.
  • Track record managing complex electronic discovery projects, including government investigations and cross-border matters.
  • Strong grounding in the eDiscovery lifecycle, EDRM, Sedona and evolving case law.
  • Hands on experience with Relativity, analytics, TAR and CAL workflows, and current generation AI review tooling.
  • Working knowledge of processing and review platforms across the wider market.
  • Experience on large matters spanning multiple offices, domestic and international.
  • People management experience is essential for the Manager role and strongly preferred for the Senior Project Manager role.
  • RCA certification strongly preferred. PMP, ACEDS or equivalent a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Credibility to advise senior and demanding stakeholders independently.
