Whitecap Search is seeking a highly skilled professional with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise server infrastructure. This role involves the administration, maintenance, monitoring, and support of VMware virtualization platforms, Windows Server environments, enterprise storage systems, backup platforms, and related infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day infrastructure needs while also helping improve reliability, performance, security, and long-term architecture.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, maintain, and support Windows Server environments, including physical and virtual servers.
- Manage and troubleshoot VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter environments.
- Support enterprise storage systems, including SAN, NAS, iSCSI, and Fiber Channel environments.
- Monitor server, storage, and virtualization performance, capacity, availability, and health.
- Perform server builds, patching, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management.
- Manage Active Directory related server services, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, and authentication dependencies.
- Support backup and disaster recovery platforms, including job monitoring, restores, and recovery testing.
- Ensure systems are configured according to security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in server administration, infrastructure support, or systems engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server Administration.
- Strong experience with VMware, vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
- Experience managing enterprise storage systems, including SAN/NAS technologies.
- Experience with server hardware, RAID, firmware, drivers, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file shares, NTFS permissions, and Windows security.
- Experience with backup and recovery technologies such as Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, or similar.
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
