Overview
Data Governance Lead for Global Transactions Services (GTS) within the Global Payments Solutions Data & AI team's Data Strategy & Governance (DSG) organization. The role focuses on data governance initiatives, data quality testing, regulatory support, and data strategy for a ~$15bn business.
Responsibilities- Drive forward DSG team goals and build relationships with partner teams, including compliance, audit, risk, and technology.
- Manage data governance initiatives, intake, facilitation of data testing, and regulatory requests.
- Collaborate with line‑of‑business partners to understand requirements and produce data solutions.
- Lead data strategy initiatives that enable the business, including driving enterprise data‑management policies and standards.
- Oversee data incidents, internal assessments, prioritization, and impact analysis.
- Support enterprise data testing efforts and regulatory or audit engagements.
- 3+ years of experience in data governance, data controls, data management, or a payments role focused on data.
- Experience driving adoption of internal data‑management policies and standards (e.g., Enterprise Data Management, Global Records Management).
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and communication.
- Strong program‑management experience building and executing processes and procedures.
- Hands‑on experience with Enterprise Data Management policies/standards and data‑governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of data‑management disciplines: data strategy, governance, architecture, security, etc.
- Experience managing a data‑controls environment and calibrating controls within a single‑process inventory.
- Ability to create and execute a GPS data strategy and roadmap, and manage ADS adoption strategy.
- Strong relationship‑management skills in a large, distributed organization.
- Deep understanding of applicable internal policy and standard requirements (including EDSGO‑owned policies).
- Experience applying data risk‑management concepts and reporting on risk health.
- Experience working with complex data landscapes at scale.
- Experience solving data‑infrastructure challenges, including legacy applications.
- Project management framework knowledge; PMI certification preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, detail orientation, and ability to adapt to fast‑paced, changing priorities.
1st shift (United States of America). 40 hours per week.
CompensationAnnualized base salary: $ – $. Discretionary incentive eligible.
