Data Integration Services (DIS) Operations Manager is responsible for managing the DIS Administration and Monitoring/Support teams located in multiple geographic locations and ensuring seamless operations of DIS solutions.

• Manage Operations (which includes Administration, Deployment, Monitoring and Support) for EAI and ETL solutions that are sustainable in the long term and SOX compliant
• Accountable for the seamless operations of DIS solutions
• Streamline and automate deployment process
• Provide post-production support (including breakfixes) and on-going maintenance
• Ensure proper transition of new/changed functionality from DIS development team to the support analyst(s)
• Ensure all related support documentation (ex: landscape diagrams, interfaces inventory, interface specific playbooks etc) is kept updated. Ensure documentation for Production Turnover is complete and accurate
• Identify and fine tune performance bottlenecks
• Monitor and identify throttling scenarios
• Instructs, assigns, directs, and reviews the service produced by DIS Operations team members working with Enterprise DIS Sr. Manager
• Responsible for resource planning of DIS Operations resources
• Evaluates team member performance and provide feedback
• Monitors team performance against performance targets
• Provides support and on-the-job training to more junior or less experienced team members
• Ensure individual team member development of technical, functional, and industry skills
• Well-organized with attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision
• Achieve a high level understanding of the existing applications landscape and environment
• Establish and implement governance guidelines and processes
• Acts as a role model and mentors other team members
• Provide visibility to the capabilities of DIS solutions
• Define the strategy to create and maintain host instances
• Ensure Biz Talk and SSIS solutions are properly configured
• Coordinate with DBAs for any database job errors
• Responsible for installation and configuration of Biz Talk Server and SSIS
• Work with DIS customers to plan and coordinate software/hardware upgrades, system outages, follow up on escalated production incidents etc
• Effectively communicate issues, risks and challenges in a timely manner to Enterprise DIS Sr. Manager
