Our Utility Client in Brooklyn, NY is looking for a Junior Business Analyst withGIS experience. This is hybrid onsite so need a local who can come to the office and also attend a FTF Interview. 12+months 45 W2 or 55 ctc

• Assist with gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and technical requirements.
• Support project managers and business teams in coordinating project activities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Create and maintain user stories, process documentation, workflow diagrams, and business process maps.
• Help facilitate meetings, status updates, and communication between technical teams and business stakeholders

• Support digital transformation initiatives involving enterprise repositories, workflows, mapping systems, and operational tools.
• Assist with backlog management and project tracking using Azure Dev Ops or similar platforms.
• Coordinate testing activities, issue tracking, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
• Assist with reporting, data validation, and operational process improvements.

• Develop professional presentations, reports, SOPs, and training documentation for business and leadership audiences.
• Create workflow diagrams and technical documentation using Visio or similar tools.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with technical teams, management, and business users.

• Support data migration, validation, and automation initiatives using tools such as Python, SQL, or Oracle databases.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining enterprise records and repositories.
• Participate in technology implementation efforts and process improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in
  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Business Analytics
  • Engineering
  • Related technical field
• Strong internship or co-op experience within a utility company environment
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and self-management abilities
• Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and determination
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
• Experience with:
