Our client, an established systems integrator and IT services company, is seeking an IT Specialist to provide application development and operational support for a financial institution in the United States. The IT Specialist will develop, maintain, and support business applications and related databases to meet business and operational requirements. This position will be based at the client’s Midtown Manhattan office and will require in-office attendance two days per week.

Our client, an established systems integrator and IT services company, is seeking an IT Specialist to provide application development and operational support for a financial institution in the United States.

The IT Specialist will develop, maintain, and support business applications and related databases to meet business and operational requirements. This position will be based at the client’s Midtown Manhattan office and will require in-office attendance two days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support business applications and related databases.
• Analyze business and operational requirements and assist in developing appropriate technical solutions.
• Perform application testing, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Provide ongoing production and operational support for business-critical applications.
• Create and maintain system specifications, operating procedures, and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate application changes, releases, deployments, and production implementation activities.
• Work closely with business users, IT teams, project teams, and external vendors.
• Support system implementation, application enhancement, maintenance, and operational improvement projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and system enhancements.
• Follow application security, change management, and software development best practices.

主な業務内容

・業務アプリケーションおよび関連データベースの開発、保守、運用サポート

・業務要件および運用要件の分析と、適切な技術的ソリューションの設計支援

・アプリケーションのテスト、トラブルシューティング、根本原因分析、問題解決

・業務上重要なアプリケーションに対する継続的な本番環境および運用サポート

・システム仕様書、運用手順書、その他の技術文書の作成および管理

・アプリケーションの変更、リリース、導入、本番環境への移行作業の調整

・業務部門、ITチーム、プロジェクトチーム、外部ベンダーとの連携

・システム導入、アプリケーション機能強化、保守、業務改善プロジェクトの支援

・自動化やシステム改善を通じた業務プロセス効率化の提案

・アプリケーションセキュリティ、変更管理、ソフトウェア開発に関するベストプラクティスの遵守

Requirements



Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of application development experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience implementing or supporting business applications within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies:
