Position Summary

Carlyle is seeking a Product Manager to lead technology initiatives within Client Solutions Group Technology supporting the Firm’s institutional fundraising and sales teams. This role will serve as the Product Manager for Salesforce, Carlyle’s institutional sales and client relationship management platform, and will play a central role in the Firm’s implementation of Salesforce and the broader modernization of the fundraising technology stack.

The Product Manager will bridge business stakeholders and technology teams to design, implement, and evolve a scalable CRM platform that gives fundraising and sales teams a single, trusted view of investors and prospects, strengthens pipeline visibility and data quality, and drives commercial and operational efficiency. Primary Responsibilities

Platform Strategy and Business Alignment
Fundraising Platform Strategy:
Partner with institutional sales, client coverage, product specialist, marketing, fund formation, and compliance teams to define and evolve the Salesforce roadmap across fundraising, coverage, and reporting use cases.
Sales Process Enablement:
Translate complex fundraising and coverage processes, including prospect targeting, pipeline management, capital commitments, and account coverage models, into streamlined, technology enabled workflows within Salesforce.
Investor Data and Reporting:
Own the investor and prospect data model, support the implementation of reusable data structures aligned with firm data governance standards, and ensure pipeline reporting and dashboards give leadership a trusted, near real time view of fundraising activity.
Systems Integration:
Collaborate with internal technology teams to ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and adjacent platforms, including investor onboarding, fund accounting, marketing automation, document management, and downstream reporting systems.
Product Ownership Lead the development, deployment, and enhancement of technology solutions tailored to fundraising and sales business needs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Own day to day product management of Salesforce for the institutional sales user base through implementation, launch, and steady state operation. Lead the remaining phases of the Salesforce implementation, including requirements definition, data validation, testing, user training, and rollout.

Define and manage the product roadmap, backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization, aligned to the Firm’s fundraising and digitization objectives. Partner with engineering, implementation partners, and vendors to configure, test, and deploy new capabilities. Establish documentation, release, and enablement standards, and direct business analyst, quality assurance, and partner resources so that delivery scales beyond any single individual.
Adoption, Innovation, and Scalability Drive adoption across a senior, commercially focused sales user base, treating adoption as a product outcome rather than a training exercise. Improve the quality and completeness of investor, prospect, and pipeline data, and define the controls that keep it durable over time. Support scalable configurations and processes that can be reused across new funds, strategies, and investment segments.

Define KPIs, monitor platform usage and performance, and recommend improvements that increase adoption, data quality, and commercial productivity. Identify and evaluate opportunities to incorporate AI and automation into fundraising and sales workflows, including data capture, activity logging, pipeline hygiene, and reporting, to enhance efficiency, insight, and the investor experience.
Stakeholder Management Act as a trusted advisor to senior sales and fundraising stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment between technical capabilities and commercial objectives. Mitigate risks…
