Senior Capital Markets Project Manager (PM/BA)
Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Capital Markets Project Manager with strong enterprise-level project management experience within financial institutions and capital markets. The ideal candidate will operate in a hybrid PM/BA capacity, serving as a key liaison between technology and business stakeholders. The successful candidate will primarily support the planning, tracking, coordination, and delivery of an XVA program. This individual will facilitate stakeholder discussions, drive follow-ups, track action items and deliverables, and communicate project status and progress to technology, business, and senior management.

The role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, strong ownership of delivery, and the ability to translate technical concepts and project accomplishments into clear, business-friendly communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate project meetings, stakeholder calls, working sessions, and status meetings
    .
  • Function effectively in a hybrid Project Manager/Business Analyst capacity
    , bridging business and technology teams.
  • Plan, coordinate, and track XVA program deliveries across multiple technology and business partners.
  • Drive follow-ups and ensure project deliverables, milestones, and action items are completed on time
    .
  • Document meetings, decisions, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
  • Maintain project plans, trackers, status reports, and delivery documentation.
  • Communicate project status, progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders and senior technology management.
  • Prepare and distribute release notifications, project updates, stakeholder communications, and formal notices
    .
  • Ensure deliveries adhere to established acceptance, development, QA, UAT, and release criteria
    .
  • Coordinate across business, technology, QA, UAT, and delivery teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Track and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery concerns as appropriate.
  • Create, maintain, and present technical and project documentation
    , including spreadsheets and summarized data outputs.
  • Manipulate and analyze spreadsheet-based data and create concise presentations and summaries for leadership.
  • Translate technology deliveries, accomplishments, and technical issues into business-digestible communications
    .
  • Support planning and execution of Agile delivery activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong enterprise Project Management experience within financial institutions, banking, or capital markets.
  • Strong Capital Markets background.
  • Experience operating in a PM/BA hybrid role
    , working across both business and technology teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    10/10 communication skills
    .
  • Demonstrated ability to run meetings, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and drive outcomes.
  • Strong follow-up skills with a proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines.
  • Experience tracking project risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and action items
    .
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior technology management and business stakeholders
    .
  • Strong understanding of technology and system flows
    , with the ability to translate technical information into business-friendly language.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced experience with spreadsheets and summarized data reporting
    .
  • Strong team-player mentality with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Capital Markets & Financial Domain Expertise Candidates should have a strong understanding of financial markets and ideally experience with:

  • XVA / XVA programs
  • Derivative products
