- Perform strategic data/information management activities, including database administration, data analysis, data maintenance, data quality, database management, and database architecture/design engineering
- Resolve complex problems and transactions by interpreting policies, guidelines, and processes
- Own one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products
- Represent the unit or team on cross-functional process or project deliverables
- Provide advice and counsel related to business technology or operations
- Supervise the day-to-day work of junior-level employees
- Assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies
- Apply sound ethical judgment and elevate, manage, and report control issues transparently
- 6–10 years of experience
- Experience in a quantitative field
- Excellent analytical and practical problem-solving abilities
- Solid understanding of the consumer lending market, customer life cycle, and P&L
- Experience in segmentation, modeling, and optimization
- Working experience in the financial/credit card industry
- Know-how of analytic tools such as SAS E-miner, Knowledge Seeker, and SPSS
- Knowledge of methodologies including regression, CHAID, and simulation
- Big data and machine learning experience using R, Python, or similar tools
- Bachelor's/University degree
- Master's degree preferred
Demonstrates expertise in data management, analysis, and compliance within the financial industry, with a strong focus on consumer lending and risk assessment. Proficient in utilizing analytic tools and methodologies to drive business decisions and optimize processes.
