Campus Undergraduate Summer Internship Program – Business Resilience, Enterprise Shared Services

Support Business Resilience initiatives aligned with current business priorities
Assist with research, data analysis, documentation, reporting, and project coordination
Contribute to procedures, playbooks, training materials, governance routines, and resilience capabilities
Prepare materials for resilience exercises, stakeholder meetings, and senior-level reporting, and track follow-up actions
Analyze and visualize data to identify trends, risks, dependencies, or opportunities for improvement
Research industry practices, emerging risks, and regulatory developments relevant to business resilience
Explore emerging technology, including AI, for research, analysis, and process improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional and global partners to support consistent execution and share best practices

• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor's degree program
• Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Interest in enterprise risk, business continuity, operational resilience, third-party risk, cybersecurity, technology, data analytics, or regulatory compliance
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
• Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States required;
  American Express will not pursue visa sponsorship
• Preferred: degree in business, risk management, engineering, mathematics, information systems, computer science, data analytics, cybersecurity, supply chain management, or related field
• Preferred: strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Preferred: proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
• Preferred: experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
• Preferred: ability to work independently and as part of a team

Demonstrates strong analytical and organizational capabilities, with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools. Possesses a solid understanding of enterprise risk, business continuity, and operational resilience, complemented by effective communication and collaboration skills.
