Regulatory Business Analyst

We’re seeking an experienced Axiom Business Analyst with strong functional knowledge of AxiomSL (Controller View) and regulatory reporting, specifically FR 2052a and FR Y-15.

This role will focus on conducting a comprehensive GAP analysis of the current data environment against regulatory reporting requirements, identifying data deficiencies, defining sourcing requirements, and providing guidance around data mapping and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct “as‐is” vs. “to‑be” data analysis and identify missing fields, granularity issues, and data quality gaps
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business processes and financial products
• Define data sourcing requirements across transactional, counter party, collateral, and balance sheet data
• Translate complex Federal Reserve reporting requirements into clear BRDs and FRDs
• Develop detailed data mapping specifications from source systems into the Axiom ODS and consolidated data model
• Partner with data architects and upstream system teams to address data sourcing and transformation requirements
• Provide strategic guidance and drive regulatory reporting initiatives through completion

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Business Analyst experience within Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB)
• Hands‑on experience with AxiomSL / Controller View
• Proven experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of FR 2052a and/or FR Y-15 at a major banking institution
• Strong understanding of financial products and regulatory reporting data
• Experience conducting data gap analysis, data mapping, and data sourcing
• Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and large data sets
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
