SCA EDI Helpdesk Tech-Senior
This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. The SCA EDI Helpdesk Tech Senior is responsible for providing process support to trading partners of electronic data interchange (EDI) transaction processes by front line phone and email support.
How you will make an impact:
- Responds to EDI inquiries and/or requests for assistance from customers.
- Identifies, investigates and researches questions and problems with first call resolution, call back or refer to other associates for assistance as needed.
- Stays current on updates to software in use, changes in electronic file formats, or in regulations that impact the exchange of data.
- Assists in department initiatives to improve performance, produce reports, and introduce system enhancements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum 3 years of claims processing, customer service, or para-technical helpdesk support experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- This position is part of our Wellpoint Federal division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Familiarity with Medicare and other clearinghouse terminology strongly preferred.
