Purpose:

** Tapestry is seeking a
** Sr. Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer
** to strengthen and scale our Microsoft 365 support and engineering capabilities. This role will serve as a technical leader within the M365 ecosystem, providing expert-level support, driving governance and security best practices, and partnering closely with business stakeholders to enable productivity and collaboration across the organization.

The Sr. Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer will play a critical role in shaping the M365 roadmap, ensuring platform stability, improving adoption, and delivering a high-quality support experience. This position is key to maintaining continuity, advancing our data governance posture, and evolving our support model to meet growing business needs.
** The successful individual will leverage their expertise in Technology to:
*** Serve as the senior technical authority for the Microsoft 365 platform, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive, Teams, Entra  (Azure AD), Intune, Purview, and Power Platform.
* Design, implement, and maintain scalable M365 solutions aligned with security, compliance, and governance standards.
* Lead complex troubleshooting efforts and provide Tier 3/4 escalation support for M365-related issues.
* Proactively identify platform risks, performance issues, and opportunities for optimization.
* Define and enforce M365 governance models, including data lifecycle management, retention policies, sensitivity labels, and access controls.
* Partner with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements.
* Improve and maintain the organization’s data governance and information protection posture using Microsoft Purview and related tools.
* Contribute to and help execute the long-term M365 roadmap, aligning platform capabilities with business objectives.
* Evaluate new Microsoft features and services, making recommendations for adoption and rollout.
* Drive standardization and best practices across collaboration, identity, and endpoint management.
* Act as a trusted advisor to business users and IT stakeholders, providing clear guidance and solution-oriented recommendations.
* Deliver responsive, high-quality support while balancing operational needs with strategic initiatives.
* Collaborate with Service Desk and other IT teams to improve support processes, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, administrators, and support staff.
