Data Analyst Internship

Work with advisory and research teams to build datasets, dashboards and analysis that inform transactions and client dialogue.

• Source and normalise financial, market and company data from filings, APIs and databases.
• Maintain comps and transaction datasets; automate updates using Excel, Python or SQL.
• Build lightweight dashboards and charts for client materials (Excel/Sheets or a BI tool).
• Run quality checks on data and document assumptions, definitions and lineage.

• Hands‑on experience turning raw data into analysis used in live mandates.
• Exposure to deal processes and financial modelling workflows.
• Skill growth with Excel, data wrangling and visualisation; optional Python/SQL.
• Consideration for future roles in advisory, research or data.

• Undergraduate or graduate student in finance, economics, data science, engineering or related fields.
• Strong Excel/Sheets skills; familiarity with SQL and/or Python a plus.
• Comfort working with financial statements and large CSV/Excel datasets.

• Detail‑oriented with a habit of documenting steps and definitions.
• Clear visual communicator who can structure charts and tables for non‑technical audiences.
• Curious, pragmatic and comfortable iterating on feedback.
