We are seeking a hands‑on SWIFT Technical Integrator to join our team and lead critical upgrade, migration, and integration initiatives within a banking infrastructure environment.

This role is highly operational and requires strong ownership across the full lifecycle — from environment setup and installation to production deployment and post-go-live support.

The ideal candidate brings solid experience working with SWIFT platforms (or similar messaging/payment systems), combined with strong Linux, Oracle, and middleware exposure.

Role and responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end SWIFT upgrade and migration activities, including planning, installation, integration, and production deployment.
  • Analyze and validate software and infrastructure requirements (OS, middleware, hardware) for new platform versions.
  • Coordinate the setup of infrastructure components (VMs, OS, VLANs, firewall rules, middleware such as MQ or sFTP).
  • Install, configure, and upgrade SWIFT applications across test and production environments.
  • Migrate and adapt system scripts and automated jobs (ksh/bash), ensuring continuity and stability during transitions.
  • Coordinate and support integration testing, ensuring systems and interfaces are fully operational before business validation.
  • Lead troubleshooting and incident resolution, working closely with infrastructure teams, application support, and external vendors.
  • Prepare and maintain deployment documentation, runbooks, and go‑live checklists, ensuring smooth handover to production support teams.
  • Coordinate production releases and go‑live activities, ensuring proper execution within change management frameworks.
  • Contribute to both BAU and change initiatives, with a focus on system reliability, stability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a hands‑on integration, deployment, or production support role within a banking or critical systems environment.
  • Strong experience working with Linux/Unix systems, including scripting (bash/ksh).
  • Good knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL for troubleshooting and data validation.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT platforms or similar systems (payments, messaging, or trading).
  • Experience working with middleware or system interfaces (e.g., MQ, sFTP).
  • Comfortable working in production environments, coordinating deployments and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work across teams and take ownership of end-to-end delivery.

At Talan, we invest in our employees' well‑being and empower them with benefits, including:

  • The salary range for this role is US $90,000 - US $135,000.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching.
  • 15 days of paid vacation per year at hire and up to 27 according to seniority (annual untaken vacation days are cashed out).
  • 8 paid holidays + 5 sick days + 2 personal days per year.
  • Company health, dental, and vision insurance plans + FSA.
  • Voluntary STD and LTD.

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
