Army Real Property & Installation GIS Support

This GIS Analyst will support Fort Drum DPW with GIS data maintenance and Real Property reconciliation. The role combines enterprise GIS editing, data quality control, field collection, mapping, and analysis to help keep installation geospatial information aligned with Army Real Property requirements.
Core GIS Work- Create, update, and maintain GIS features, attributes, and related data in accordance with Fort Drum and Army standards.
- Perform GIS quality-control checks, editing, reporting, and standardization to support SDSFIE 4.0 requirements.
- Review and reconcile GIS information with Real Property and facility data to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
- Develop and maintain metadata and attribute information that meets installation requirements.
- Respond to organizational requests for geospatial data, maps, reports, and analysis.
- Perform enterprise GIS maintenance, spatial analysis, mapping/cartographic production, and basic modeling.
- Collect field data using GPS/GNSS, field sensors, and other approved methods.
- Manage multiple assignments and data requests while collaborating with managers and technical team members.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field.
- Approximately 1-4 years of ArcGIS experience.
- Approximately 1-4 years applying GIS principles, practices, and methods.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain required security/installation access.
- Trimble or similar GPS/GNSS field data collection.
- SDSFIE data standards and GIS quality-control experience.
- DoD IGI&S or installation GIS experience.
- Army Real Property or facility-data experience.
- GISP certification.
The Fort Drum team is designed to be multidisciplinary. The selected analyst should be willing to learn adjacent Real Property, facility-survey, CAD, and data-reconciliation tasks when project needs require additional support.
