  • Improve reporting by replacing manual processes with scalable, automated solutions.
  • Identify trends and reserve movements, helping teams understand key drivers and emerging risks.
  • Collaborate with data, actuarial, finance, and technology teams to ensure trusted, high-quality data is available for decision-making.
  • Explore opportunities to apply AI and advanced analytics to enhance reserving insights and efficiency.
  • Help establish best practices for reporting, data definitions, and governance.

  • A deep understanding of insurance or reinsurance data, including how claims, policy, exposure, premium, underwriting, finance, and actuarial information can be used to support analysis.
  • The ability to lead through influence, work with technical teams, and bring people together around a shared outcome.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to make complex data and analysis clear, practical, and actionable.
  • Experience creating dashboards, datasets, visualizations, or self-service tools that help business users understand performance, trends, and drivers.
  • Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, and an interest in applying them to real business problems in a practical and responsible way.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with reserving, actuarial, finance, claims, underwriting, or performance reporting teams.
  • Some knowledge of reserving processes, actuarial triangles, loss development, claims trends, or financial close reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and other visualization platforms.
Location
  • New York, NY (Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in the office)
Compensation
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, retirement, paid time off, wellness programmes, and tuition assistance.
