This role is ideal for a senior networking professional with deep expertise in network operations, security, cloud connectivity, and infrastructure optimization who can ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of mission-critical business networks.

As a Network Systems Engineer, you will serve as a senior technical expert responsible for managing complex enterprise networking environments spanning data centers, branch offices, cloud platforms, and security infrastructure. The role involves overseeing Layer 3 network operations, implementing advanced routing and switching solutions, and driving initiatives to improve performance, automation, resilience, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and business teams to ensure network services meet business requirements and service-level expectations.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience with enterprise networking technologies, network security frameworks, disaster recovery planning, and operational governance. This position offers the opportunity to play a critical role in maintaining and modernizing large-scale enterprise network environments.
- Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations.
- Manage Layer 3 network operations and serve as an escalation point for complex network incidents.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networking environments.
- Support SD-WAN deployments and enterprise WAN/LAN connectivity solutions.
- Administer data center networking infrastructure and ensure high availability.
- Implement and maintain cloud networking solutions across public and hybrid cloud environments.
- Manage network security controls including VPNs, IPsec, NAC, and next-generation firewalls.
- Monitor network performance, capacity, utilization, and service availability.
- Develop automation and orchestration processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities for critical network issues.
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and network resilience initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ITSM processes, SLA commitments, KPI targets, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams on network-related projects.
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and operations.
- Extensive knowledge of Layer 3 routing and enterprise network infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networking technologies.
- Experience supporting SD-WAN, enterprise LAN, WAN, and data center networking environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking architectures and hybrid connectivity solutions.
- Experience with network security technologies including NAC, VPN, IPsec, and next-generation firewalls.
- Expertise in network monitoring, performance analysis, capacity planning, and optimization.
- Experience with automation, orchestration, and infrastructure operational improvements.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.
