Systems Specialist - Communications Network Infrastructure

The Systems Specialist, under the general guidance of the Systems Manager, is responsible for overseeing work of a team of analysts that are responsible for providing technical support of the existing network security systems in IT. This role will also be responsible for leading the team, contributing technical expertise, and providing guidance to the analysis of incidents and events. The Systems Specialist will also develop and create procedures that will help the team improve the monitoring of IT computing infrastructure, provide timely response and troubleshoot alerts generated by various security tools.

This position is also responsible for routine IT administrative tasks, problem solving, and issue resolution.

This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
