Senior Threat Detection & Response Architect

I'm working with a highly successful global investment firm that's looking to add a Senior Detection & Response Engineer to its growing cyber security team.

You'll have the opportunity to shape the firm's detection and response capability, working across a modern hybrid environment where security is genuinely valued as a business enabler.

You'd be joining a collaborative team that's investing heavily in automation, threat detection and security engineering. If you enjoy building, improving and challenging the status quo rather than simply monitoring alerts, this could be a great fit.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading investigations into security incidents from detection through to remediation.
• Building and tuning high-quality detections across SIEM and security tooling.
• Carrying out proactive threat hunting and strengthening detection capabilities.
• Developing automation, playbooks and response workflows to improve efficiency.
• Working closely with Cloud, Infrastructure and Engineering teams to enhance the organisation's security posture.

What they're looking for:

• Strong experience in Detection & Response or Security Operations.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM technologies, incident response and digital forensics.
• Experience working across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
• Someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems and driving continuous improvement.
• Exposure to Python, Power Shell or Bash would be beneficial.

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $220,000.
