Senior Azure & Gcp Cloud Engineer

CRITICAL REQUIREMENT

MUST be local to NY/NJ and able to attend an onsite interview in NYC.

Our client is seeking an experienced Azure & Google Cloud Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, application modernization, data integration, and platform operations across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining cloud‑native solutions in an enterprise environment.

• 7+ years of cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure experience
• Strong hands‑on Microsoft Azure
• Strong hands‑on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep
• CI/CD – Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or Jenkins
• Cloud networking –
  VNet/VPC, DNS, firewalls, VPN
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Power Shell, Python, or Bash
• Cloud security best practices and compliance
• Experience with cloud infrastructure design, implementation, support, and troubleshooting
• Cloud migration / modernization experience

Hands‑on experience with:

• Azure App Services
• Storage Accounts
• Azure SQL
• Azure Functions
• Key Vault
• Azure Networking

Hands‑on experience with:

• Compute Engine
• Cloud Storage
• Cloud SQL
• GKE
• GCP IAM

• Design, implement and support Azure and GCP cloud solutions
• Build and maintain infrastructure using IaC
• Develop/manage CI/CD pipelines
• Configure cloud networking, security and access controls
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize cloud environments
• Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity
• Support on-prem-to-cloud migrations
• Partner with application, data, cybersecurity and infrastructure teams
• Maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams

• Azure certifications:
  AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400
• Google Cloud certifications
• Kubernetes / Docker
• Enterprise-scale cloud migration
• Data integration / analytics platforms
