Job Title: Windows Migration Specialist (Windows 10 to Windows 11)

Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary coordinator for the Windows 11 migration project, managing timelines, tracking progress, identifying issues, and mitigating risks to ensure a seamless rollout.
• Collaborate with IT teams, external partners, and business stakeholders to align technical execution with project goals.
• Upgrade trader workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11 with minimal disruption to operations.
• Provide responsive, first-line support on the trading floor, addressing issues and user concerns during the migration.
• Troubleshoot and support Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other financial market data platforms.
• Partner with application and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless functionality of trading applications post-migration.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar migration or desktop engineering role, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Trade floor support experience is a strong plus.
• Deep understanding of Windows 10/11 environments and support best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, and Teams.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure such as Active Directory, printing systems, and networking.
• Troubleshooting experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and Office 365 applications.
• Familiarity with Intune, Microsoft Autopilot, On-Prem AD, and Azure AD.
• Skilled in using SCCM, MDT, and other endpoint management tools.
• Knowledge of endpoint security best practices and implementation.
• Proficient with Power Shell and command-line scripting for automation and support tasks.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
