DevOps Engineer - ADO

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dev Ops Engineer specializing in Azure Dev Ops (ADO) to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team for a 4-month contractual engagement. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience managing enterprise Azure Dev Ops environments, with a focus on platform governance, security, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile support. This role offers the opportunity to work on Azure production environments, driving platform improvements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize deployment workflows and security compliance.

Dev Ops Engineer - ADO

• Proven experience administering Microsoft Azure Dev Ops in an enterprise setting.
• Expertise in Azure Dev Ops projects, repositories, pipelines, boards, and permissions management.
• Strong understanding of Git workflows, branch policies, and repository governance.
• Experience governing CI/CD pipelines, including YAML pipelines and build/release workflows.
• Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops  principles, security integrations, and compliance standards.
• Skilled in troubleshooting permissions, pipelines, repositories, and platform integrations.
• Excellent communication skills to guide teams and document best practices.
• Ability to partner effectively with engineering, security, and Agile teams.
• Certifications in Azure Dev Ops or Azure Cloud are a plus.

• Administer and maintain Azure Dev Ops platform components including projects, repos, pipelines, and boards.
• Standardize configurations, manage permissions, and optimize asset cleanup for governance.
• Monitor platform health, usage, and costs to implement continuous improvements.
• Govern and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, branch policies, and build validations.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce Dev Sec Ops  practices and implement security guardrails.
• Support Agile teams with Azure Boards configuration for Scrum, Kanban, and other workflows.
• Integrate Azure Dev Ops with security, cloud, and reporting tools, managing service connections and APIs.
• Lead governance forums, develop standards, and ensure compliance across platform use.
