Manager, IT​/Tech

• Manage project tasks and project plans
• Write communications and decks
• Coordinate sub-team efforts and deliver outputs
• Facilitate and gather client feedback on problem structuring
• Manage the frequency of feedback loops with offshore resources
• Import raw data from client data warehouses and databases into statistical analysis software
• Process data through coding, compilation, calculation, tabulation, and verification
• Make recommendations to management through presentations
• Use visualization software, charts, tables, and other tools to highlight trends and recommendations
• Review and advise on team members’ data analysis, results, interim and final output files, and recommendations
• Use SAS, R, SQL, Hive, Teradata, Hadoop, Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint for data extraction, data understanding, variable reduction, big data processing, data analysis, model development, model stabilization, model validation, summarization, visualization, and presentation
• Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or a directly related field
• At least two (2) years of experience in a machine learning or data engineering field
• At least two (2) years of experience with SQL, including complex queries and stored procedures
• At least two (2) years of experience with ETL tools, including Informatica and Data Stage
• Experience with relational databases, including Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
• Experience with performance tuning of ETL jobs and SQL queries
• Knowledge of computer programming and computer languages
