Position Summary

The Senior Program Manager, Enterprise Data is responsible for coordinating and managing the execution of the firm’s strategic data initiatives. This individual will oversee multiple interconnected projects, work streams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of the firm’s data transformation objectives.

Working across Information Systems, Finance, Business Development, Knowledge Management, Risk, Security, Practice Groups and administrative functions, the Senior Program Manager will establish governance processes, manage dependencies, track risks, and issues, and provide leadership visibility into program progress.

Position Responsibilities Program Planning and Coordination
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans covering multiple projects and work streams.
  • Coordinate activities across business, technology, and operational teams.
  • Identify and manage dependencies between projects and stakeholders.
  • Monitor program milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities.
  • Facilitate the program planning sessions and status reviewed.
Governance and Reporting
  • Establish and administer program governance processes.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards, and program communications.
  • Coordinate steering committee meetings and decision-making forums.
  • Maintain program documentation, action logs, issue registers, and risk registers.
  • Ensure appropriate escalation of program risks and issues.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build effective working relationships with business leaders, attorneys, Knowledge Management professionals, technology teams, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate communication across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure alignment between project objectives and business priorities.
  • Support consensus-building and resolution of competing priorities.
Delivery Oversight
  • Track progress across multiple projects and work streams.
  • Monitor resource allocation and capacity across participating teams.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate program-level testing, readiness, and implementation activities.
  • Support transition of completed initiatives into operational support models.
Risk and Issue Management
  • Proactively identify program risks and potential delivery obstacles.
  • Facilitate development of mitigation strategies.
  • Track and manage issues through resolution.
  • Escalate significant concerns to leadership as appropriate.
Vendor Coordination
  • Coordinate activities involving external vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
  • Monitor delivery against agreed milestones and commitments.
  • Support contract governance and vendor performance management activities.
Change Management and Adoption
  • Support organizational change management efforts associated with data initiatives.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications and training activities.
  • Track adoption of metrics and readiness indicators.
  • Help ensure successful implementation of new processes, systems, and governance frameworks.
Experience, Skills, And Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 7+ years of program or project management experience required.
  • Experience managing large, cross-functional business and technology initiatives required.
